Duties and responsibilities:

• Provide formal teaching for undergraduate as well as postgraduate programs. This includes but not limited to a lecturer, tutorials, practical work, seminars, preparation and assessment.
• Supervise undergraduate students.
• Ensure active involvement in curriculum development relating to Life skills: Art of education/ Graphic and Digital Design/ Industry Fine Art/ Advertising Design and Brand Strategy and teaching practice modules.
• Ensure active involvement in research, publish and conference.
• Other requests by Academic Head and Director (upon).

Inherent requirements:

• A relevant Master’s degree or higher in Advertising Design and Brand Strategy or Industry Fine Art or related area. (prior for Candidate graduated PhD)
• Proven experience in the delivery of poster or oral presentations at academic conferences or equivalent activities.
• Provide evidence of manuscripts produced that have the potential to be converted or submitted for publication in an accredited journal.
• With FULLTIME Position and request to get the work permit: 
• Three (3) years’ teaching experience in a schooling context or
• two (2) years’ teaching experience in a higher education context.
• A teaching qualification and others (if any)

Required competencies:

• Good interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to function with ease in the University’s richly diverse environment.
• Computer literacy
• Ability to function independently, as well as in a team environment.
• Ability to organize workload and to perform under pressure.

Recommendations:

• A relevant Doctoral/Master degree in Advertising Design and Brand Strategy or Industry Fine Art or related area.
• (Prior)Proven research record of relevant publications in the national and/or international accredited journals.
• Experience in postgraduate supervision.
